Cabbage Roll Soup

This yummy cabbage roll soup is super easy to make and so GOOD on a cold wintry day!!!


  • 4 cups cabbage, rough chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt (you can leave this out if you’re on a sodium-free diet)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 3 cups tomato sauce
  • 4 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup rice or orzo

Brown the ground beef in a skillet with onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, oregano, and basil.

Slow Cooker (Crock Pot) directions:

Slow cook all ingredients except rice or orzo for 8-10 hours on low. Thirty minutes before you plan to eat, add the rice or orzo in and stir.

Stove top directions:

Add your browned ground beef from the first step to your stockpot. Add all the ingredients except the rice or orzo. Let it come to a slow boil. Add the rice or orzo and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!
